Find me hanging out in Denver, CO
Hi, I'm Sara, a multidisciplinary designer with experience in UI development & UX design.
Design means so much more to me than "making a website look pretty". Design is problem solving. The awareness of the multiple meanings of design has lead me to develop a process of how I can use my skill sets to solve a problem.
Empathy for my users is my main priority when solving these complex problems. I can say that I am humbled to work in a career where the learning is always exciting and continuous. Below you'll see some of the steps I have taken to continue learning in this field.
When I'm not glued behind my computer, you catch me on the slopes or trying to find new music, check out my Spotify for some cool tunes.
Over 24 weeks, I attended informative lectures and took part in a variety of individual and team exercises, working independently and in groups, in the classroom and at home. Homework assignments provided an opportunity to apply what I’ve learned and build on it. I was apart of a comprehensive learning experience that modeled this program after real world corporate environments. It gave me true insight into a “day in the life” of a full stack developer. Skills included:
Create a home on the web to showcase skills
Build 3 complete sites from concept
Commit code to a shared repository
